Pero además, es antigua, porque el Gobierno ya reconoció hace un mes que ocultó datos Tokio reconoce que ha ocultado datos sobre el nivel real de radiación en Fukushima-1

(1) antes el gobierno japonés reconocía que no había revelado el nivel de radiación, porque era mucha: así que ocultaron información
(2) ahora el gobierno reconoce que sabían desde el principio que se había fundido el núcleo porque encontraron telurio y sin embargo dijeron que no estaba fundido: es decir que mintieron
Por tanto, un título adecuado para el envío en #0 sería
"EL GOBIERNO JAPONÉS RECONOCE QUE MINTIÓ SOBRE EL ESTADO DE LA PLANTA NUCLEAR DE FUKUSHIMA"
pero, claro, si hubiera puesto eso ahora estaría enfrascado en la discusión de si el título se corresponde con el contenido de la noticia y la misma estaría hundida por votos negativos de los de siempre.

El Gobierno japonés ha lamentado no haber informado al público acerca de importantes resultados sobre la observación de radiactividad que se efectuó cerca de la central Fukushima Uno poco después del accidente nuclear.
El Gobierno central y las autoridades prefecturales de Fukushima recabaron los datos con el fin de determinar las medidas de evacuación y las restricciones de alimentos y agua que se aplicarían a los residentes como consecuencia de los daños causados por el terremoto y el tsunami sobre la central nuclear el 11 de marzo.
En una lectura realizada el 12 de marzo se detectó telurio radiactivo a siete kilómetros de distancia. El telurio se genera cuando se funde el combustible nuclear de la central.
Sin embargo, en una conferencia de prensa realizada ese mismo día, la Agencia de Seguridad Nuclear e Industrial informó que el combustible nuclear estaba intacto.
El Gobierno tampoco reveló que se habían detectado altos niveles de radiactividad en hierbas a entre 30 y 50 kilómetros de la central. El 15 de marzo se detectó yodo radiactivo 131 en un nivel de 1 millón 230 mil becquerelios por kilogramo en un lugar a 38 kilómetros al noroeste de Fukushima Uno.
El profesor Yasuyuki Muramatsu, de la Universidad Gakushuin, afirma que el yodo radiactivo provoca efectos altamente nocivos en los niños. Agrega que si los datos se hubieran publicado con mayor antelación, se habrían podido tomar medidas para protegerlos contra la exposición.

Tu querías votar antigua, aun siendo la noticia de ayer día 3 de junio de 2011.
Por ejemplo gallir votó cansina, porque es la primera vez que se demuestra que el gobierno ocultó información importante sobre la contaminación incluso mintiendo sobre que no había habido fusión del núcleo.
Mientras locuelos votó duplicada, aunque no hay otra noticia por aquí que hable de lo datos del telurio que demuestra que mintieron.
Estoy acostumbrado a estos fallos constantes...
En una democracia: algún tribunal debería de procesarlos a todos ellos por negligencia con efectos nocivos para la salud de la población, por prevariación, y más.
La verdad es que no creo que pase nada: el poder económico lo controla todo en la dictadura plutocrática.

Japan's ever-sneaky Ministry of Education and Science again quietly released 3 sets of simulation maps of WSPEEDI without any press release nor any explanation; this time it was the simulations that they did on March 15. The Reactor 3 that used MOX fuel blew up on March 14 at 11:01AM JST.
Last time, the Ministry put out on May 10 the WSPEEDI simulation done on March 25. That simulation, if disclosed in a timely manner, may have prevented many, many children from developing thyroid cancer in the future.
One set of the maps is about krypton-85 surface concentration. The maps show the band extending well beyond Tokyo and Kanagawa.
That at least proves one thing, that Tokyo and Kanagawa were probably bombarded with radioactive materials on March 15. I remember seeing posts in Japanese message boards that day and afterwards saying people had a metallic taste in their mouth that day, that people started to have nosebleed and fell ill. Both were attacked and dismissed as "malicious rumors".
All the government needed to do was to warm people in Tokyo and Kanto area that day to skip work and school. Shut the doors and windows and stay indoors.
When Hiroaki Koide of Kyoto University testified on May 23 in a government committee (Upper House, government oversight committee), the data he said he had been told by his superior not to publish was the data of radiation in Tokyo on March 15.
NISA Confesses Suppressing Crucial Information At Early Stage of Accident

Yesterday (3 June 2011) in a press conference, NISA admitted that they had suppressed disclosure of the finding of radioactive tellurium (Te-132) at 6 km offsite of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station. The finding was in the morning of 12 March (i.e. at the wake of the quake) and the detected concentration was 73 Bq per cubic meters.
The release of Te-132 indicates that the temperature of the nuclear fuel rods were over 1000 degrees Celsius at that early stage of the accident. It is significant that the finding was BEFORE the emergency ventilation of the Unit-1 reactor containment. The tellurium detection is a good, decisive proof that the Fukushima reactors went through LOCA (loss of coolant accident) and the meltdown actually started very soon after the quake shock.
(The Unit-1 reactor building got blown out as a result of the ventilated hydrogen flowing backwards into the uppermost floor of the reactor building. The largest portion of the radioactivity released into the atmosphere from the Unit-1 is considered to have been emitted by the rupture-disk ventilation at 10:17 and the hydrogen explosion at 15:36 of 12 March.)
NISA also confessed yesterday that 123 mega-Bq (= 123 million becquerels)/kg of iodine-131 had been detected from weeds at 38 km offsite on 15 March, 4 days after the LOCA. That high concentration of iodine at that time at that distance should have been taken as a crucial information in organising the sheltering and/or evacuation of the area. Instead, this information of utmost relevance was suppressed, resulting in the tragic delay of evacuation.
It was also revealed yesterday that Fukushima Prefecture administration had failed to publicise the high air dose rate measured in Fukushima City and in Kawamata Town (east of the city) on 15 March. The readings were 7.33 and 30+ uSv/h, respectively. The figures indicates that radioactive plume reached to the area as long as 60 km away from the melting-down site. The residents were given no proper warning.

The agency says the total amount of radioactive iodine 131 and cesium 137 released from the Numbers 1, 2 and 3 reactors for the 6 days from March 11th is estimated at 770,000 terabecquerels.
That is about twice the figure mentioned in April when the agency upgraded the severity of the accident to the highest level of 7 on an international scale.
