#2 I had to read the article to understand the importance of "liquid" water. I think that's the difference regarding other news about water found on Mars, usually it was ice.

#2 #4 True, lately it was discovered that Mars has water on solid state enough to cover the whole surface of the planet several meters deep, if I recall correctly.
