En el año 1866 se estrenó en el Teatro Variedades de Madrid una opereta musical con el pomposo título de “El joven Telémaco”. La música era del maestro José Rogel Soriano, el primer actor Francisco Arderius. Aunque a algunos le sorprenda el "Aserejé" tiene letra, de una canción anterior, que alguien 'intenta' emular:
