Porque Wooten tiene un disco con el batería de DMB, el saxofonista de este concierto (Jef Coffin) es el saxofonista de DMB, y uno de los hermanos de Victor es el teclista de DMB. Y Además tocaron juntos una vez las dos bandas y fué maravilloso. De Wooten, uno de sus mejores solos sin duda.

Pero la mayoría del tiempo estan impecables, y tienen un par de directos que son magnificos.

Mencion aparte: Wooten tiene un disco con el batería de la Dave Matthews band (Carter Beauford, grandioso) que es una joya. Muy muy recomendable.

La verdad es que entiendo que Wooten destacase tanto en 2010 porque la ausencia de Jeff Coffin es atronadora, me gusta mucho más con él que con Levy. Es una pena que Wooten tiene distonía focal y dudo que pudiera tocar este repertorio hoy en día. Una de mis bandas favoritas.

Recomendables, también los dos trabajos de Vital Tech Tones, con Wooten, y el trío de Wooten con Greg Howe y Dennis Chambers, Extraction. Creo que los Wooten Brothers vienen en breve, a Madrid, al festival villanos del Jazz ...
