La redactora jefe de una de las páginas web de noticias más antiguas y populares de Rusia, Lenta.ru, ha sido despedida fulminantemente hoy después de que un organismo de control del Estado advirtiera al sitio web por sus entrevistas a líderes ultranacionalistas ucranianos. Galina Timchenko dirigía Lenta.ru desde 2004 y trabajó allí desde su lanzamiento en 1999. Ha sido reemplazada por un editor que trabajó anteriormente para un sitio web de noticias pro-Kremlin.
