For those of you wondering about the possibility of Black Mirror continuing with the same creators involved, two things need to happen:
Netflix has to purchase the rights from the show from the old production company (or come to some other form of financial agreement). The rights would be very costly given the popularity of Black Mirror.
Even if Netflix secures the rights, it would still need to secure Brooker and Jones involvement. Brooker and Jones established a new production company after leaving the old one, and Netflix has been in a very long negotiation process with them to create exclusive content for the platform.
If #2 happens and #1 doesn't, it's possible Brooker and Jones will just make a show that is a spiritual successor to Black Mirror in everything but name.
