El gobierno sudafricano fustigó a Donald Trump el jueves luego de que el presidente estadounidense tuiteó que su gobierno investigará la expropiación de tierras y la "matanza en gran escala de agricultores" en Sudáfrica. El gobierno dijo que el tuit de Trump se basó en "información falsa" y refleja una "percepción estrecha que sólo intenta dividir a nuestra nación y nos recuerda nuestro pasado colonial". Dijo que se reuniría con el embajador estadounidense para pedir aclaraciones.
