La primera peli se sale, como peli y como musical. La secuela es mucho peor en cuanto a trama, pero sigue teniendo una banda sonora enorme.

Sobre el tema en si, musicalmente es de estas canciones que, al menos desde mi punto de vista como batería, "camina sola", no necesita alardes para destacar: si nos fijamos, la parte de la batería es sobria pero de buen gusto (me encanta el fill del cambio del estribillo a la estrofa) , el motivo principal es simple pero solemne, el cambio a doble tempo tiene una transición nula, y aun así, empasta....
Todo el tema está al servicio del cantante, y como se podra apreciar, si habéis escuchado alguna versión en directo, no toda voz vale para darle "ese toque". De hecho, creo que la unica version que he oido que he pensado "esto si" es de Koko Taylor, que, cerrando ya el círculo, aparece en la ost de blues brothers 2000

Lo cual, supongo, le hacía menos "étnico" y más "fino" para la audiencia (porque aunque su acento no rótico es local de Nueva York, la mayoría de acentos "distintivos" de los afroamericanos también son no róticos). Hasta en eso había racismo. Además de censura en la letra que ya no habla de cocainómanos "tocando el gong"...
