Algo que también impulsó a la guerra contra Inglaterra fue el aumento de los impuestos sobre el Tabaco, sin ir más el lejos el propio Washington era un cultivador de tabaco que se enfureció con dicho aumento y impulsó a este "padre de la nación" a su lucha democrática de no pagar impuestos ya que según él no recibía todo lo que daba. ¿os suena?
