Yo descubrí NOFX escuchando un recopilatorio que se llamaba THE SURVIVAL OF THE FATTEST. The decline la poníamos con mis compis de piso cuando estábamos estudiando por la noche y empezábamos a tener la bajona antes de los exámenes. Era un subidón.

#18 Les he visto varias veces en directo (por no decir que fue el primer concierto al que fui allá por el año 98), y lo que es cierto es que el declive de la década de 2010 (la época más fuerte de drogas y alcohol de Fat Mike) es tremendo, pero los directos de la gira de despedida han sido aluciananes (ellos mismos dicen que han tocado con cascos casi por primera vez)

Bad Religion no fallán igual que DKM

Pennywise han evolucionados a unos yayos que dicen mucho fuck you, hacen versiones y luego tocan 20 minutos de sus mejores canciones

Vistos varias veces en vivo y siempre rinden pero si el público no es bueno ellos bajan el pistón.
Una pena que se retiren pero han sido 41 años de música y aunque musicalmente no avanzaran mucho de disco a disco este EP fué una joya. Sólo he visto esta canción en vvo entera 1 vez y es un temazo.
Sin esta canción Green Day en su vida hubiese co,puesto Jesus Of Suburbia y se huebiesen quedado reducidos a un one hit wonder sin American Idiot.

#6 punk in drublic es magistral y ahí ya dejé de escucharlos aunque si que los he visto siempre que he podido (la última vez en 2019 en Vitoria junto con bad religion, otro de mis grupos favoritos), yo los empecé a escuchar con el white trash, y de ahí pasé al S&m airlines, ribbed…todos diferentes pero geniales como discos enteros…

#8 pues yo los he visto 3 o 4 veces y ninguna de ellas ha destacado, y si que hay un par de esas veces muy malas , con fat Mike borracho desvariando y cantando y tocando fatal

a mi me han decepcionado bastante en directo , sobre todo porque los discos son buenísimos y muy potentes

igual he tenido mala suerte ...

bad religión o pennywise por ejemplo es al revés, en directo ganan mucho

6 veces les he visto en directo; un directo horrible que tienen, pero tuve la suerte de escuchar esta canción en directo hace casi 20 años, la reconocí con el primer riff. Basta decir que es mi canción favorita.

Yo también te respondo, los he visto 3 veces, creo, la primera no me acuerdo, las dos últimas en Vitoria, hace 4 años aprox en un plazo de 6 meses, y fue una mierda asi de grande! Con muchas tertulias y bromas internas entre canciones, insufrible y aburrido, sin poder disfrutar porque cada tres canciones se ponían hablar entre ellos cortando todo subidón.
Eso sí, si te metían the decline, o stickin in my eye empalmada con linóleum, y no se que mas pués...

La mejor canción de punk de la historia (al menos para mi), no por pionera ni ser influencia de nada sino por ser una obra cumbre en el estilo. Tengo el CD original comprado el mismo día que llegó a España y la he escuchado un par de veces en directo. No puede dejar indiferente a nadie.

NoFX es posiblemente la mejor banda de punk rock de la historia y este trabajo es una sacada de chorra de Fat Mike, autentico temazo y posiblemente la cuspide del grupo. Me ha hecho muchisima ilusion verlo en portada en meneame, aqui un fan acerrimo que tiene casi toda su discografia y a mis 15 años me sabia todas sus canciones y aprendia a tocar la guitarra por ellos. Nostalgia.
Esta cancion merece ser escuchada y degustada como una increble pieza artística, que es lo que es.

Y Mike pone guinda a la cancion que acaba con una brutal multiorquesta donde se cierra el circulo y las letras acaban por mandar el.mensaje final, con Eric Melvin y su grito:

Ya te lo respondo yo, un cojón, uno de los mejores directos que te puedas echar a la cara, los habré visto unas 5 veces (incluida su despedida en Madrid donde se clavaron el The Decline entero seguidito y sin un puto fallo) , siempre salí encantao
Fat Mike es un payaso, pero sus salidas de tono a menudo hacen que la gente no se fije en lo bueno que es el cabrón como musico.
