Me parece que disentimos... Ten en cuenta que es común decir "Alpha Release", "Beta Release", etc... De hecho el título de la página enlazada es "Python 3.0a1 Release" ;)

Lo de "incompleta y con bugs" no es una apreciación subjetiva mía. Incluso el anuncio incluye una pequeña lista de advertencias. En la lista de correos de Python 3 hay mas detalles.

Por eso me ha extrañado que dijeses que es "incompleta y con bugs". Eso, y que lo sacasen de golpe, claro xD

Después de varias alpha saldrán las versiones beta (release candidate)... y, una vez ya no hay bugs, sacan la versión de lanzamiento, la buena.
