#6 Pues por ejemplo muchos de los de Tailandia, uno de los países menos violentos que he visitado nunca (y he visitado casi 100 países). O China, que aparece en el puesto 101 del ranking y resulta que es un país dónde jamás ves violencia. Pero ni violencia ni robos ni nada similar.

Supongo que el gran fallo de esta gráfica es estar basada en muchos indicadores "subjetivos". Por ejemplo, el indicador de España de criminalidad percibida es 3, justo en el centro (1-5). Bien, pues en China yo he visto señoras ir a comprar y dejarse la moto con las llaves puestas en la puerta o repartidores de paquetes dejar toda la recaudación en la furgoneta con la puerta abierta. ¿Eso lo haríamos en España? ¿Y entonces porque China tiene un 4 y España un 3? ¿Y cómo puede tener Senegal un 2 si no conozco a nadie que haya ido y no le hayan intentado atracar? El problema es que gente que jamás ha salido de su país valora su propio país sin darse cuenta y sin conocer cómo son el resto de países. Al final, la encuesta sale sesgada y la gráfica obviamente también. Erronea.

#5 es que en el índice no cuentan solo el número de muertos por armas, sino que incluyen muchos más factores:

Russia experienced a decline in peacefulness in 2012/13, following a slight improvement the previous year. Fatalities from internal conflict rose, there was a rise in terrorist activity, an uptick in exports of major conventional weapons and an increase in military expenditure, to 3% of GDP—a high level by international comparison, but lower than that of the US (4.1%). Russia’s exports of major conventional weapons, the number of heavy weapons and the size of the police force relative to the population remain among the highest in the world. While the jailed population dropped for the fifth successive year, 495 per 100,000 people remains very high; only Cuba, Eritrea, Rwanda, the US and North Korea incarcerate a higher proportion of their population.
Ongoing conflict in the North Caucasus and the related terrorist threat are also key factors, along with a poor
ranking in the Political Terror Scale and a high homicide rate. Shootings, bombings and ambushes against security
forces and local authorities took place in Chechnya, Dagestan, Ingushetia, and Kabardino-Balkaria, claiming
more than 600 lives in 2012. Dagestan experienced the most serious violence, with an escalation in attacks by militant Islamists, including on a police station in Makhachkala in May, during which at least 13 people were killed and 120 injured. Russia’s score for the GPI indicator of internal conflict remained “moderate” in 2012-13, however, reflecting the fact that large areas of the country are free of conflict.

#3 ¿cómo cuales ? tal vez hayan utilizado un criterio que a tí no te guste mucho, o que creas que está equivocado, o que se podía matizar, pero decir así, en general, que "hay muchos datos que no cuadran nada" me parece bastante pretencioso.
Aquí te cuentan cómo han hecho el estudio, los criterios que han utilizado y los datos que han incluido:

Pues en muertos por armas, no coincide con el global peace index.
Rusia no está en los indicadores que tenia, y en este pare que tiene menos "paz"
